Is there really good money to be made from affiliate marketing on the internet?

I recentley joined a affiliate marketing program because it sounded so easy but after I joined it seems to be very confuseing and difficult. I just want to know if anyone has done this and had any positive results and should I stick with it or drop it?

What is a good affiliate marketing company that does good on payouts if you have good click through rates?

I use cj, copeac, and a few others but I am looking to expand into more. What are some other good affiliate marketing networks?
